Former Minister Marwan Charbel,and after meeting with the Saudi  ambassador at his home in Yarze, said that “in these difficult circumstances, we know the kingdom’s role in bringing points of view and helping all of Lebanon.”

He said: “The Kingdom and Lebanon love each other, where some, share distinguished relations, and the kingdom has a credit on me personally because I studied in it and our security relationship developed since I was an officer until I became a minister.”

And he considered that “we should not deny of Saudi Arabia’s credit on Lebanon, nor should Saudi Arabia leave Lebanon in difficult circumstances.” And I hope that “all the sects will come together to get out of our problem because we have isolated ourselves from all the world, including the Gulf states, and the Kingdom has never sinned against Lebanon.”
