A group of doctors, pharmacists, dentists, nurses, and laboratory employees gathered in front of the Ministry of Health upon the call of the “White Coats Organization” to protest over the scarcity of drugs and infant formula.

“We are protesting for the first time, and we have decided to do so in order to put pressure on the International Community to act, given Lebanon’s utterly destroyed Health Sector, and we ask the United Nations to assist us,” a doctor from the White Coats Organization said in front of the Ministry of Health. “We are here as well to support those who are being forced to stand in humiliating lines in front of gas stations.”

The organization advocated for bolstering the Health Conditions and ensuring medical supplies and drugs, stating that we currently have no other options except to hit the streets and resort to revolution.

It also urged the United Nations to intervene and rescue Lebanon from its medical crisis.
