The consensus of Lebanon and the Lebanese that their interest is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and that the Kingdom is the most important country for them at all levels, is as obvious as the Arabs’ and the world’s view on the primacy of Lebanon’s adherence to Security Council resolutions. This emphasizes the importance of Lebanon’s independence from the Iranian colonization, as well as the importance of expelling Hezbollah from Lebanon.
Today, Lebanon may start a new chapter in its interactions with the Gulf and its Arab neighbors in general, reaching out to Paris, London, and Washington. Everyone is ready to support and assist Lebanon if it decides to reverse its past foreign policy and reaffirms its commitment, in word and practice, to all stances and declarations that were recently made from Jeddah to Abu Dhabi and then to Cairo.
Today, the message has become clear, to the Covenant first and “Hezbollah” second. The leadership to hell is rejected, and expansion to Iran has become forbidden… Lebanon and those concerned have to choose, either they follow the path of prosperity or sink into further collapse.
