Will Mikati’s government see the light?

Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati concluded the non-binding parliamentary consultations that he conducted over two days by listening to the demands of the parliamentary blocs, to begin the journey of authorship, which seems arduous in light of the great disparities between the political forces, and amid calls to speed up formation.

According to observers, Mikati will seek, in the first drafts, to present the idea of forming an inclusive government, after surveying the positions of all the blocs and whether their members want to participate in the government or boycott.

With the increasing rate of collapse, Azzi stressed the need to work to alleviate the suffering of the people.

In sum, the political behaviors that the Lebanese experienced, before and after the last parliamentary elections, do not indicate that fundamental changes will occur in the general situation, exposing the country and its future to more darkness and deterioration.
