William Noun: Martyrs’ families intend to storm politicians’ residences

In an exclusive interview with Sawt Beirut International during the news bulletin, William Noun, the brother of the martyr “Joe Noon,” revealed that they had successfully stormed the residences of Prime Minister-designate Mikati and MP Talal Merehbi yesterday. He does, however, declare with evidence shown that there was no robbery attempt in the two residences and that there was no money inside, as others have claimed. Noun went on to say that there are still three persons being held by security personnel, and that if they are kept in detention, the situation will worsen. “We’re headed to a similar situation as yesterday,” William added. In the name of the martyrs’ families, I declare that the choice is either to appear before the courts or to be held accountable in the streets. Noun interpreted Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s statement as a pressure Hezbollah is putting on the judiciary, but the families of the martyrs are stronger than these pressures, and they are on their way to storming politicians’ residences.

During the news bulletin, Sawt Beirut International shared photographs of William Noun’s vehicle that was attacked, and stated that the security services had shown him the names of the perpetrators on the car, but the devices were unable to arrest them.

Noun concluded the interview by declaring that “violence is allowed for us,” owing to the authorities’ behavior towards us.
