A European official revealed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked today for anti-aircraft defense systems, imposing more sanctions on Russia and providing security guarantees in a speech to the leaders of the Group of Seven summit.

The European official, who declined to be named, added that Zelensky, who was addressing the summit in the Bavarian Alps via a video link, also requested assistance in the export of grain from Ukraine and support for reconstruction.
