Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has honored Patron, the dog that has become a symbol of patriotism in the country since the start of the Russian war.

The dog and its owner were awarded a medal of appreciation, after more than two hundred explosive devices were found in a Ukrainian city, in the northeast of the country.

During the ceremony, the Ukrainian President indicated that Patron had provided a great help to explosives experts after guiding them to their locations, and had saved the lives of many children by helping them understand the rules of public safety in areas where mine threats spread.
