A 59-year-old man from Haifa’s bayside suburbs was detained on Friday morning for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl in the garage of the building she resides in, the Jerusalem Post reported.

A complaint against him has been lodged, while an official court indictment is due to be issued against him within the next few days.

The man lives in close proximity to the girl.

When he was arrested and police inspected his home, they found pornographic pedophilia materials.
