According to local media reports, flash floods in China on Tuesday have resulted in at least seven people being reported as missing, while approximately 900 individuals have been evacuated to safer areas.
The flash floods and landslides were caused by heavy rainfall in the uninhabited areas of the Wenchuan county of southwestern Sichuan province.

Search and rescue operations are underway, daily Global Times reported.
