Sultan al-Jaber, the CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC), stated on Monday that investments in oil and gas capacity are needed “to avoid supply and demand problems.”

He noted that the lack of investments in fossil fuels is causing unprecedented instability in the energy markets.
