Heavy rains caused massive flooding in New South Wales state, and parts of northwestern Sydney suburbs are still submerged.
While residents felt comfortable with the clarity of the weather on Wednesday after days of rain, they received “urgent warning” to prepare for the influx of some of the most deadly spiders, which are endemic to Sydney.
