The Arab Coalition intercepted and destroyed two missiles fired by Yemen’s Houthi forces, which were aimed at the Saudi city of Abha in the country’s south, state news agency SPA said on Wednesday.
According to the Coalition, the Houthis used Sana’a airport as a launch platform for missiles that targeted people.
Yemen’s Houthis have increased their attacks on the Kingdom and launched scores of cross-border aircraft raids on Saudi Arabia since January.
With explosive-laden drones and ballistic missiles, the Iran-backed militia attacked residential areas and energy installations in the Kingdom.
