Around 30,000 Ukraine refugees arrive in France

According to French housing minister Emmanuelle Wargon, 30,000 Ukrainian refugees have landed in France, with half of them intending to go across the country to other countries such as Spain.

According to Wargon, the administration is poised to welcome 100,000 individuals escaping the Ukraine conflict.

Ukrainian refugees have been granted temporary European Union stay permits in France, allowing them to attend schools and work in the nation.

The Ukrainian community in France comprised 40,000 people before the war.
