US President Joe Biden said on Friday that he was convinced Russian President Vladimir Putin had decided to invade Ukraine, and that while there was still time for diplomacy, he expected Russia to attack the country in the coming days.

“We have reason to think Russian troops are planning and intend to strike Ukraine in the coming week, in the coming days,” Biden said, adding that Russia will target Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.
