The Turkish Embassy in Sarajevo declared that Turkey will continue its cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina on police force training, Anadolu News Agency reports.
The embassy’s statement came after a visit by three of its officials—internal affairs consultants, Ali Durmaz and Mehmet Erdugan and Security Attaché, Cemil Cem Aydin—to the head of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Police Academy, Damir Vejo.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Vejo said he always favours cooperation with Turkey.
The embassy said this cooperation between the two countries’ respective police forces and the training courses to be held between them were on the agenda during the visit.
It added that Bosnia and Herzegovina had been invited to the 10th International Union of Police Academies (Interpa) Conference to be hosted in the resort province of Antalya, Turkey.
