On Sunday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that teams are searching for the cylindrical object that a U.S. fighter plane was ordered to shoot down over Yukon territory the day before so that they may examine it and determine its function.
Before leaving for a previously scheduled fund-raising event in the Yukon, Trudeau told reporters that recovery teams were searching the area for and analyzing the object.
“There’s still much to know about it. That’s why the analysis of this object is going to be very important.”
