COVID-19 restrictions in Moscow have been extended until June 29

After a new surge in daily instances, Russia’s capital will extend COVID-19 restrictions until June 29, mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated on Friday.

According to his blog, the restrictions include prohibiting large-scale public gatherings and closing cafes and restaurants at night. Sobyanin said last week that Moscow was dealing with a new coronavirus type that was more aggressive and infectious.
