The Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza was the target of an attack on Tuesday that claimed the lives of three doctors, including two of Médecins sans Frontières (MSF), a French medical charity that expressed shock at the event.
In a statement, it stated, “MSF has routinely provided warring parties with information about Al-Awda as a functioning hospital and the presence of its staff in Al-Awda.” “Israeli authorities were also provided with GPS coordinates yesterday.”
The doctors were identified as Drs. Ziad Al-Tatari, Ahmad Al Sahar, and Mahmoud Abu Nujaila (MSF). It stated, “This must stop now. Seeing doctors killed next to hospital beds is beyond tragic.”
