The French government said on Saturday that European energy ministers will convene in an emergency conference on Monday, after a jump in oil and gas prices as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

According to a statement from the French Ministry of the Environment and Industrial Transition, the conference will take place in Brussels.
