EU foreign ministers will meet virtually on Sunday to approve further steps in support of Ukraine and to counter “Russian aggression,” EU foreign policy director Josep Borrell announced late Saturday.

“I will offer a package of emergency assistance for Ukraine’s military forces to help them in their courageous struggle,” he wrote on Twitter, adding that the meeting will begin at 1800 CET on Sunday (1700 GMT).
