A day after some of his ardent followers invaded the capital city of Brasilia, daily O Globo claimed on Monday that former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro had been admitted to a hospital in Orlando, Florida, with “abdominal pain.”

Bolsonaro was stabbed while running for president in 2018, and as a result, he has required several trips to the hospital in subsequent years for intestinal obstructions. Two days before Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva assumed the presidency, he left for the United States.
