France will provide 100 million euros ($111 million) in financial help to Ukrainians affected by the violence, the French foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
It stated that the help was intended to alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe created by Russia’s invasion and was in response to a request from Ukraine.
On Sunday evening, a first cargo of 33 tonnes of supplies, mostly tents, blankets, hygiene kits, and sleeping bags, arrived in Poland and was turned over to Ukrainian authorities on Monday.
