The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdullah Bou Habib, received the United Nations Special Coordinator in Lebanon Yoana Frontka, who said after the meeting: My visit today is a courtesy visit during which I congratulated Minister Bou Habib on his assumption of the position of Foreign Minister, and the research focused on the joint cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants and the United Nations and the implementation of Resolution 1701 .

Frontka presented to Minister Bou Habib the United Nations work program in Lebanon, and the focus was on the importance of holding parliamentary elections, the required support from the United Nations, the role of expatriates in these elections, and the participation of young people in them as well, which we would like to respect the constitution and electoral law.

She added: They also discussed issues related to foreign policy, describing the beginning of cooperation as excellent.
