15,899 people have killed and 42,000 have been wounded in Palestinian territory since the beginning of the conflict with Israel, according to the health ministry in the Gaza Strip, which is governed by Hamas.
It further stated that 70 percent of the victims were women and children.
Following an attack by Hamas terrorists on southern Israel on October 7, which resulted in almost 1,200 deaths and 240 hostages, according to Israeli authorities, Israel has been waging an air and military war against Gaza.
