As the city ramps up its fight against the spread of coronavirus, Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam said on Tuesday that the government would expand a “vaccine bubble” from Feb. 24 to cover places such as gyms, theaters, and libraries.
Only those who have been vaccinated would be permitted in.
Lam was addressing at a weekly news briefing the day after health officials verified a fifth incidence of Omicron in the local community, this time from a cluster at a restaurant transmitted by an infected pilot.
