On the day Ukraine lost its first major city to Russian forces, a Ukrainian team announced it was en route for a second round of ceasefire talks with Russia.

“We’re on our way to the Russian Federation for talks. Helicopters have already arrived “Mykhailo Podolyak, a presidential aide, claimed on Twitter.

In what looks to be a helicopter cabin, Podolyak uploaded a photo of himself with politician David Arakhamia, who is dressed in military gear.

Ukraine intends to discuss humanitarian corridors with Russia, according to Arakhamia on Facebook.

At roughly 1200 GMT, he wrote, “We start in two hours.”
