An IMF spokeswoman said on Monday that the International Monetary Fund will provide an updated macroeconomic framework to all of Chad’s creditors by the end of January, under pressure from creditors to finish a debt restructuring deal with the African country.

“We can confirm that the IMF intends to submit an updated macroeconomic framework to all creditors by the end of the month,” a representative for the IMF told Reuters.

The global lender said on Tuesday that public and private creditors must execute a debt restructuring plan with Chad by the end of March in order to restore long-term growth in the African country.
