India has authorized Biological E’s COVID-19 vaccine as the country’s first mix-and-match booster dosage, the firm said on Saturday.

The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) approved the Corbevax vaccine as a booster injection for adults aged 18 and above who have already taken two doses of either AstraZeneca Plc’s (AZN.L) Covishield or Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin.
