According to the semi-official Tasnim news agency, Iran has secured the capability to create a supersonic cruise missile, which is currently being tested.

The declaration comes amid escalating tensions with the United States in the Gulf, as well as the presentation of new boats outfitted with 600-kilometer-range missiles last week.

“This missile, which is a new generation of Iranian-made cruise missiles, is currently undergoing tests and will be a new chapter in Iran’s defense power,” according to the outlet.
