An Israeli soldier was killed during combat in northern Gaza on Sunday, the Israeli military has said, with a second soldier seriously injured. The deceased was a member of the 401st Armored Brigade’s 46th Battalion.
There have now been 122 Israeli soldiers killed since the country’s ground offensive in Gaza began. Close to 19,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli attacks since October 7.
