In a phone discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday, Israel’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennett offered his country’s services as a mediator to bring peace to Ukraine, the Kremlin stated in a statement.

According to the report, the discussion was initiated by Israel, and Putin informed Bennett that Russia had a delegation ready to engage with Kyiv in the Belarusian city of Gomel, but the Ukrainian side had “failed to grab the opportunity, in a display of incoherence.”
