The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, stated today, Saturday, that “the Lebanese government bears responsibility for every attack that originates from Lebanon towards our sovereignty.”

Adraee added, “Anyone attempting to breach our borders will be killed.”

He pointed out that “the Israeli Defense Forces targeted dozens of saboteurs from the elite unit of Hamas that led the brutal ISIS-style attack against Israel last Saturday. Our forces also eliminated a man named Murad Abu Murad, who was a member of Hamas’ Air Force and was involved in the heinous attack.”

Adraee further stated, “We have noticed chaos within the Hamas leadership, leading to the evacuation of residents from their homes south of Gaza City because their leadership is hiding under civilian buildings in Gaza. They will not be able to shield themselves with human shields from the Gaza civilians.”

He clarified, “We are focusing our efforts on achieving the goals of the war: defeating Hamas and eliminating the organization’s leaders who were involved in the heinous attack on our state. This ISIS-style terrorist organization will not rule Gaza militarily or politically.”
