Israel said on Sunday that obligatory COVID-19 testing for arrivals at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport will be discontinued, although foreigners would still be required to test negative before boarding a trip to the country.
The health ministry said on May 20 that testing at Ben Gurion would no longer be necessary. The decision was based on a decline in daily infection numbers from more than 6,000 to less than 2,000 in the previous month.
