Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz dispatched invitations to the leaders of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates to attend the Arab League summit in Jeddah on Friday.
King Salman sent a written message to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah with the invitation.
The message was handed to Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah by Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled during a meeting with the royal in Kuwait.
King Salman also sent a written message to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan that included the invitation.
The message was received by UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed during a meeting in Abu Dhabi with Saudi Ambassador to the UAE Turki Aldakhil.
The officials also discussed the strong fraternal relations that bind Saudi Arabia and the UAE and efforts to bolster them to achieve prosperity and progress for both their countries and peoples.
