During a recent visit, Malaysia’s King, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, welcomed Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the Foreign Affairs Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the meeting in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, they discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between the UAE and the Southeast Asian nation in several sectors.
They also spoke about King Sultan’s visit to the Emirates in February, and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan’s trip to Malaysia in May.
Sheikh Abdullah pointed out that such official visits played a significant part in boosting relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by other officials from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with the Emirati Ambassador to Malaysia Khalid Ghanim Al-Ghaith.
