According to Mexican authorities cited by Reuters, a tragic incident occurred early Sunday morning (Dec 17) at a holiday party in Mexico, where a group of individuals opened fire, resulting in the death of twelve people. The attack took place in the central state of Guanajuato during a posada, a traditional Mexican celebration observed in the days preceding Christmas, as reported by local media
The state’s attorney general’s office took to social media platform X to announce the tragic news, saying at least 12 people have been killed.
