A Myanmar military court convicted Aung San Suu Kyi of three criminal offenses on Monday, condemning her to four years in jail in the latest wave of legal attacks on the deposed democratic leader.
According to a person familiar with the case, the 76-year-old was found guilty of two crimes relating to unlawfully importing and possessing walkie-talkies, as well as one of violating coronavirus guidelines.
