All NATO allies have agreed that Ukraine will ultimately join the alliance, but the priority now is to assure the country’s victory over Russia, according to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg on Friday.

He also told reporters that after the conflict in Ukraine is over, Kyiv must have “the deterrence to prevent new attacks,” ahead of a meeting of the Ukraine defense contact group at the Ramstein air base in Germany.
