On Thursday, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that all NATO allies are in agreement that Ukraine will eventually become a member of the alliance. This statement affirms the collective consensus among NATO member countries regarding Ukraine’s future membership in NATO.
“All allies agree that Moscow does not have a veto against NATO enlargement,” Stoltenberg told reporters ahead of an informal meeting of NATO Foreign Affairs ministers.
“We are moving, allies agree that Ukraine will become a member.”
