People in and around Oxford were stunned after witnessing what has been described as a “explosion.”

Residents and motorists have uploaded footage of the sky lighting up on Monday evening at 7 p.m.

“Saw this strange pulsing sky out of our windows looking north west of Oxford,” one eyewitness reported. I’m presuming it’s a fire triggered by the passing lightning storm.”
