Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan claimed on Friday that Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki has been subject to limitations by the Biden administration that limit his capacity to interact with the media.

At a press conference in Washington, Prince Faisal informed reporters, “The US government has imposed restrictions on his Excellency that do not allow him to respond to media questions or to engage with the media.”

He implied that if the Palestinian ambassador spoke to the media, there would be legal repercussions.
