The death toll in Gaza has surpassed 10,000 people, the Palestinian health ministry said Monday after nearly one month of Israeli bombardment on the enclave showed signs of intensifying.
Less than two weeks ago, US President Joe Biden said he has “no confidence in the number that Palestinians are using” for the death toll in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.
