Polish PM accuses opposition of lying about ‘Polexit’

The Polish government does not want Poland to quit the European Union, according to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who also accused opposition lawmakers of propagating misinformation.

“Our dear opposition is attempting to infer that by leaving the EU, we aim to damage the union,” Mateusz Morawiecki stated during a conference of the four “Visegrad” countries in Budapest, Hungary.

“This is definitely not simply fake news; it is a deception intended to destabilize the Union.”
