On Friday, France’s President Emmanuel Macron commemorated the Beirut Port explosion, expressing solidarity with the Lebanese people.
On the X social media platform, the French president said, “Lebanese people, I am thinking of you. After the explosion in Beirut three years ago, I stood by your side. I will forever remember our interactions.”
He continued: “Lebanon was not alone. It still is not. You can rely on France, our solidarity, our friendship.”
