On Saturday, President Vladimir Putin said that unannounced NATO operations in the Black Sea constituted a severe threat for Moscow and that Russia had nothing to do with the problem on Belarus’s border with the European Union.
Putin stated on the Kremlin website that he hoped Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel would communicate directly about the problem and that the migrants mostly desired to go to Germany.
