In a shocking video circulating on social media, the Iranian city of Isfahan appeared to be surprisingly covered with red color, due to a large dust storm over the city.
The Tasnim News Agency reported that a red storm with a speed of 100 km per hour hit Tudeshk district on Friday for 20 minutes.
The agency published a video clip of 14 seconds, showing the streets in the village empty of pedestrians.
On a side note, some areas in the Middle East are exposed to dust storms these days, especially in the Gulf countries and Egypt.
Last Tuesday, a ship was suspended accidentally in the southern part of the Suez Canal, which allows one-way passage, due to strong winds and a dust storm.
The channel stated in a statement that the ship’s stranding “is mainly due to the lack of visibility resulting from bad weather conditions due to the dust storm that hit the country, which resulted in the incapacity to steer the ship in addition to its stranding.”
