Israel’s Energy Minister claimed on Sunday that President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had decided to restore water service to some areas of southern Gaza.
Israel Katz, the energy minister, said the decision to only partially replenish water supplies was consistent with Israeli strategy, which seeks to tighten the blockade on the territory governed by Hamas.
