Russia suggested on Saturday that supply of Western weapons could be targeted in Ukraine, where the Russian army has been advancing since late February.

“We warned the US that the coordinated pumping of weapons from a number of nations is not only risky, but it turns these convoys into legal targets,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on state television.

“The implications of the reckless delivery to Ukraine of weapons like man-portable air defense systems, anti-tank missile systems, and so on,” he added, adding that Moscow had warned.
