On Monday, Russia’s Defense Ministry announced that its forces had destroyed an ammo stockpile for US-made HIMARS rocket systems in Bogdanovtsy, Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi area.
Reuters was unable to corroborate the reports independently.
Russia has previously claimed that it destroyed multiple HIMARS systems given by the West to Ukraine, charges that Kyiv has refuted.
