Russia will achieve its goal of ensuring Ukraine’s neutral status through talks, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Wednesday.

Moscow’s goals do not include overthrowing the Kyiv government, and it hopes to make more significant progress in the next round of talks with Ukraine, Zakharova said at a press conference, adding that Russia’s military operation was proceeding according to plan.
